We could walk everywhere, and being so centrally located, we watched the many moods of the Seine every time we came and went from the apartment. There are many eateries nearby, and a supermarket and fruit/ veg shop, along with small independent shops that are delightful. This is all on the doorstep of the apartment. The apartment is well equipped and thoughtfully designed."

"The location was ideal. The room is easy walking distance to Notre Dame, Ste. Chapelle, the Latin Quarter, and the Marais. While there is no Metro stop on the island, it is a short walk to multiple Metro stops, so the whole city is easily available. I fount it was easily walkable to major museums, but others may find it a bit far. Isle St. Louis is a quiet neighborhood with a handful of great restaurants and shops, but unlike more touristy locations it is calm and quiet, especially at night. This was a great little flat, perfect for a two person escape to Paris."

"There were no toiletries, we normally travel without those items, but we had to go grocery shopping for shampoo and soap after arrival. Also there was only one dishwashing pod so we had to wait until the last day to wash dishes. We had to leave early on our final day, and it was a bit challenging reaching the host to coordinate the hand off. In the end it worked out, but we were worried for a bit."
